Accommodation
- Our tariffs don’t include breakfast
- All quoted rates are inclusive of credit card charges.
- The tariff is subject to change except in respect of bookings already made with a deposit on all rooms.
- Check in is at 3pm, check out is at 11am
- There is a minimum 2-night stay.
- Any damage to Woodland Shepherd’s Huts property caused by guests will be charged to the guest making the booking.
- The shepherd’s huts sleep a maximum of two people.
- All guests must be over 12yrs.
- We cannot accommodate unaccompanied guests under 18yrs.
- We do not accept any large groups or pets.
Payment & Cancellation for Accommodation at Woodland Shepherd’s Huts
- Confirming your booking
- To make a booking, you will need to complete the booking form on our website and pay the quoted price in full (as displayed on our website). Your booking is only considered to be accepted and confirmed when we email you to confirm that we have accepted your booking (the booking confirmation).
- We accept payments made online, through our website.
- The booking form will clearly state:
- what dates you have booked the Shepherd’s Hut
- check in and check out times.
- any additional extras you have added;
- Please ensure all the information on the booking form is correct before agreeing to these terms and making payment.
- Bookings may be cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to arrival for a full refund.
- If you cancel within 2 weeks of your arrival the booking is fully chargeable.
- Woodland Shepherd’s Huts recommends that clients should take out Holiday Insurance cancellation cover as a precaution for unforeseen circumstances.
- The booking form will clearly state:
- If we are unable to accept your booking, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for your booking. This might be, for example, because our Shepherd’s Hut is already booked, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, because we have identified an error in the price or description of your booking, because we are unable to meet a date you have specified, – we do not accept bookings from any hen parties, stag dos or other large groups and do not permit groups who are under 18 years of age.
How to cancel a booking with us

If there is a problem with your booking or the services we provide
- If you have any questions or complaints about the services we provide, please contact us. You can write to us at [email protected]
- If we need to change or postpone your booking
- We may change or postpone your booking:
- to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements;
- make changes to the booking and/or services as requested by you or notified by us to you (see paragraph 6);
- to implement minor technical adjustments and improvements, for example to address a security threat; or
- in response to an event outside our control.
- We may change or postpone your booking:
- We will contact you in advance to tell you we will be changing your booking or postponing your booking, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. You may contact us to end the contract for a booking if we postpone your booking and we will refund any sums you have paid in advance for the booking
Visiting Woodland Shepherd’s Huts
- Luggage storage maybe available if you arrive before your check in time.
- Woodland Shepherd’s Huts is based on our farm. Let us know when you are planning to arrive and depart so arrangements can be made for your smooth arrival or departure.
Safety
- You and your party must at all times comply with the security and healthon the Because of our rural location, natural hazards, like uneven and slippery surfaces, animal burrows, deep water ponds and ditches are common. Please always exercise care around our Shepherd’s Huts to prevent personal injury.
Parking
- We have a private parking on the farm for visitors.
- Any damage caused to a vehicle will be the responsibility of the owner of the vehicle.
Shepherd’s Hut Rules
- We operate a 12+ policy, meaning that everyone in your party must be over the age of 12.
- You and your party must always behave in such a way so as not to cause or likely to cause a nuisance or unreasonable disruption to others.
- We reserve the right to ask guests who behave in an unruly manner to leave the premises on such reasonable terms as we in our absolute discretion see fit.
- We do not allow amplified music at any time and all noise should be kept to a minimum between 10.30pm and 7.30am.
- We do not permit any sky or Chinese lanterns to be released.
- All smoking (including e-cigarettes) is prohibited inside the Shepherd’s Huts.
- Please use the fire-pits provided. Campfires and BBQs must not be started elsewhere.
- All fireworks and sparklers of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- Candles are not permitted in the Shepherd’s Huts.
- You and your party must agree to follow the Countryside Code.
- Wi-Fi
- We provide free Wi-Fi in the Shepherd’s Hut. The code is on the underside of the router in the Hut.
- Animals and pets
- Sorry – as much as we love animals, we don’t allow pets.
- Food and drink
- You may bring food and drink to your Shepherd’s Hut.
- Food wash bin and recycling bo=ins are provided
Belongings
In the absence of negligence on our part, as is usual, we accept no liability for injury to the person or loss or damage to their property connected with your stay at Woodland Shepherd’s Huts.
Please note that we will not be able to send items left in the room after check out. Thank you for your understanding.
Arrival and departure times
- Check in will be from 3pm on the day of your arrival. You must have checked out by 11am on the day you are due to depart.
